In the field of body contouring, Dr. Kim Jeongeun, Medical Director of the 365mc Gangnam Clinic, is recognized as the creator of LAMS — 365mc’s signature minimally invasive fat removal procedure performed under local anesthesia. A board-certified family medicine specialist with a PhD from Kyung Hee University, Dr. Kim has dedicated a career to treating obesity as a medical condition while delivering refined, natural body lines.

Trained at Kyung Hee University Medical Center, where Dr. Kim served as Chief Resident in the Department of Family Medicine, Dr. Kim built a strong foundation in obesity medicine. That clinical background shaped a clear belief: fat reduction should be precise, safe, and gentle enough for patients to return to daily life quickly.

From this philosophy, Dr. Kim created LAMS — a procedure that targets localized fat under local anesthesia, without the burden of general anesthesia — now a signature 365mc procedure for patients in Korea and abroad. Dr. Kim later documented the method as lead author of the book LAMS, sharing its principles with both patients and fellow physicians.

Throughout this career, Dr. Kim has led a series of initiatives that shaped 365mc’s medical standards:

Within 365mc, Dr. Kim served as Medical Director of the 365mc Sinchon Clinic before leading the Gangnam Clinic, and currently serves as Senior Vice President of the 365mc Medical Directors Council, guiding clinical quality across the network.

Beyond 365mc, Dr. Kim holds leadership roles in Korea’s major academic societies — as President of the Korean Society of Adipose Stem Cell, Executive Director of the Korean Society for the Study of Liposuction, and Director of Academic Affairs of the Korean Academy of Obesity and Aesthetic Treatment (KOAT) — and is a Full Member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

On the international stage, Dr. Kim chaired a session and lectured at the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) in 2015, and in 2017 returned to AAAM as an invited speaker to present LAMS with a live demonstration. Dr. Kim’s research has also been presented at the European Congress on Obesity in Prague and at international conferences in France, Canada, and Singapore.

In 2023, Dr. Kim was invited to chair and lecture at Novo Nordisk’s OBESITY MAP Symposium. In 2024, Dr. Kim’s obesity research was published in BMC Public Health, an SCIE-indexed international journal, and Dr. Kim presented “Infinite LAMS” at the Global AI Liposuction & LAMS Conference. In 2025, Dr. Kim delivered a LAMS lecture at the International Liposuction & LAMS Conference, alongside invited lectures at leading Korean medical societies.

Dr. Kim’s contributions have been recognized with the Excellent Paper Award from the Korean Society for the Study of Obesity and the Best Academic Award from the Korean Society for the Study of Liposuction. In 2025, Dr. Kim received 365mc’s Medical Innovation Award and Best Media Communication Award.

As an author and medical communicator, Dr. Kim is lead author of books on LAMS and adipose stem cells and co-author of the medical textbook Obesity and Body Contouring. Since 2005, Dr. Kim has appeared on Korea’s major broadcasters — including KBS, MBC, SBS, and TV Chosun — helping the public understand obesity and healthy weight management.

Today, Dr. Kim continues to lead the 365mc Gangnam Clinic — home to 365mc’s first Adipose Stem Cell Center — combining LAMS, regenerative medicine, and obesity care to deliver safe, precise, and natural results for patients from around the world.
