Q1. What is the Korea Premium Medical Training Program? 


The Korea Premium Medical Training Program is a far-advanced, short-term elite training program designed exclusively for licensed international doctors. The program provides structured access to Korea’s leading hospitals and specialists through observation, simulation-based training, case discussions, and one-on-one expert mentoring. 


The program is operated by NEXT HEALTH KOREA in partnership with selected top-tier Korean hospitals and clinics.

Eligibility & Application 


Q3. Who is eligible to apply? 


Applicants must: 


  • Hold a valid medical or dental license in their home country 
  • Be actively practicing or formally affiliated with a medical institution 
  • Apply for a program relevant to their clinical specialty 


Applications from unlicensed individuals or non-medical professionals are not accepted, and payments made by ineligible applicants are non-refundable. 


 

Q4. Is prior experience required? 


Yes. This is a premium, far-advanced training program intended for experienced, practicing doctors.
It is not designed for students, interns, or entry-level practitioners. 

 


Q5. Do I need to create an account or log in? 


No. The application process is login-free for convenience.
All communication, approval, and payment instructions are handled via email. 

 


Q6. What documents are required? 


Applicants are required to upload: 


  • A copy of their passport 
  • A copy of their medical or dental license 

These documents are used strictly for eligibility verification and hospital approval. 


 

Training Format & Scope 


Q7. Is this a hands-on surgical training? 


No. Under Korean medical law, visiting foreign doctors are not permitted to perform direct medical procedures on patients. 


Training is conducted through: 


  • High-fidelity surgical and procedural simulation 
  • Close-proximity clinical observation 
  • Case-based discussions 
  • One-on-one mentoring with Korean specialists 

The program is designed to deliver an experience that is as close to hands-on training as legally and ethically possible, while fully complying with Korean medical regulations and patient safety standards. 


 


Q8. How long is the training program? 


The standard program is a 3-day intensive premium training course. 


 


Q9. Which specialties are available? 


Programs are available in the following specialties, subject to approval and hospital availability: 


  • Plastic Surgery 
  • Aesthetic Medicine 
  • Dermatology 
  • Ophthalmology

(including SMILE LASIK, ICL, and multifocal laser cataract surgery) 

  • Otolaryngology (ENT) 
  • Advanced Dentistry (implant, cosmetic dentistry) 
  • Orthopedic Surgery 
  • Neurosurgery (minimally invasive techniques) 
  • Cartilage restoration (Cartistem-based orthopedic programs) 

 


Fees & Payment 


Q10. What are the training fees? 


  • Standard Medical Training Programs 
    USD 2,000 per day × 3 days
    = USD 6,000 + 10% tax 
  • Dental Training Programs 
    (due to high material and equipment costs)
    USD 2,500 per day × 3 days
    = USD 7,500 + 10% tax 
  • Cartilage Restoration with Cartistem (Orthopedic Specialty Program) 
    (due to advanced regenerative materials and specialized resources)
    USD 4,000 per day × 3 days
    = USD 12,000 + 10% tax 

 


Q11. How do I make payment? 


Payments are made only after application approval.
A secure PayPal payment link is sent to the applicant by email. 

 


Q12. Can I pay by credit card? 


Yes. The PayPal payment link includes credit card payment options, allowing payment by major international credit cards without requiring a PayPal account. 


 


Q13. Are bank transfers accepted? 


At this time, PayPal (including credit card payment via PayPal) is the official payment method for international participants. 


 


Review & Approval 


Q14. Who reviews my application? 


Applications are reviewed by the NEXT HEALTH KOREA Committee of Training Approval, in coordination with the participating hospital or clinic. 


 

Q15. How long does the review process take? 


The review process typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on specialty and hospital availability. 


 


Cancellation & Refund Policy 


Q16. What is the refund policy? 


For a program with a start date of August 31, the following applies: 


  • Cancellations on or before July 31 (30 days prior): 
    50% refund 
  • Cancellations from August 1 onward: 
    No refund 
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the start date or no-show: 
    No refund 

 


Q17. Are there situations where refunds are not provided? 


Yes. Refunds are not provided in the following cases: 


  • Visa denial or immigration issues 
  • Personal, family, or medical reasons 
  • Airline or travel disruptions 
  • No-show or failure to attend 
  • Submission of false or incomplete information 
  • Applicants found to be unlicensed or otherwise ineligible 

Eligibility verification is the responsibility of the applicant. 


 


Certificate & Post-Training Opportunities 


Q18. Will I receive a certificate? 


Yes. Participants receive an official Certificate of Completion, jointly issued and signed by: 


  • NEXT HEALTH KOREA 
  • The participating hospital or clinic 

 


Q19. Can I use the certificate for marketing purposes? 


Yes, provided it is used accurately and does not imply: 


  • Hands-on surgical authorization 
  • Clinical practice rights in Korea 

Any misleading use may result in legal responsibility. 


 


Q20. What opportunities are available after training? 


Depending on specialty and performance, participants may: 


  • Collaborate with Korean hospitals or clinics 
  • Refer patients to Korea 
  • Join international medical networks 
  • Explore long-term partnerships or franchise opportunities 

 


Legal & Compliance 


Q21. Is this program compliant with Korean medical law? 


Yes. All programs are designed and operated in full compliance with Korean medical regulations and international ethical standards. 


 Q22. Does this program allow me to practice medicine in Korea? 


No. This program does not grant any license, certification, or authorization to practice medicine in Korea.
