The JK Global Medical Training Program is a specialized educational initiative designed to share JK's extensive clinical expertise and international healthcare management experience with medical professionals worldwide.

Building upon its independent international medical training programs conducted since 2010, as well as its participation in the Korea Health Industry Development Institute's (KHIDI) Medical Korea Academy, JK offers a comprehensive educational experience encompassing surgical planning, operative techniques, patient safety management, postoperative recovery, and follow-up care.

As a clinical education institution affiliated with the College of Medicine at the Catholic University of Korea, JK provides a strong foundation for professional medical education and practical clinical knowledge exchange.

Beyond conventional surgical observation, the program emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of Korea's advanced healthcare system, from preoperative diagnosis and surgical planning to intraoperative clinical decision-making and postoperative recovery management.

Drawing on clinical experience accumulated since 1998, JK operates a multidisciplinary care system supported by board-certified plastic surgeons with an average of over 20 years of experience, working in collaboration with board-certified anesthesiologists.

The program provides an educational environment in which participants can explore clinical approaches and surgical planning across various specialties, including facelifts, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, facial contouring, breast surgery, and body contouring.

3. Specialized Training Modules

MODULE 01. Anti-Aging

• Provides in-depth education on the anatomical aspects of facial aging, taking into consideration differences in age, nationality, and gender.
• Covers a range of anti-aging procedures, including laser lifting, thread lifting, surgical facelifts, and autologous fat grafting, according to the degree and progression of aging.
• Emphasizes the restoration of underlying facial function and the achievement of natural, harmonious surgical outcomes without an artificial appearance.

MODULE 02. Middle-Aged Eyelid Surgery

• Provides comprehensive anatomical education on age-related changes in the periorbital region, considering variations in age, nationality, and gender.
• Covers upper blepharoplasty, lower blepharoplasty, and lower eyelid fat repositioning.
• Focuses on achieving surgical outcomes that preserve the patient's natural facial expression and overall appearance while maintaining harmony with individual facial proportions.

MODULE 03. Rhinoplasty

• Provides clinical education on nasal anatomy, aesthetic proportions, nasal tip and bridge refinement, and the application of autologous tissue and synthetic implants.
• Covers individualized surgical planning based on facial proportions, as well as approaches to revision rhinoplasty.
• Emphasizes the importance of precision in rhinoplasty, where even subtle structural modifications can significantly influence overall facial appearance.

MODULE 04. Breast & Body Contouring Surgery

• Provides clinical education on breast augmentation and body contouring procedures.
• Covers individualized breast surgery approaches based on body proportions, tissue characteristics, and implant type and size, as well as balanced approaches to liposuction.
• Emphasizes comprehensive postoperative recovery and patient management. Each module represents a proposed educational topic based on JK's clinical scope and the expertise of its medical specialists. Specific surgical techniques and opportunities for live surgical observation will be determined during finalization of the training curriculum.



4. Educational Approach

The JK Global Medical Training Program adopts a practice-oriented educational approach, integrating theoretical instruction with clinical observation and interactive discussions in an authentic medical environment.

Case-Based Learning Participants examine actual clinical cases to develop an understanding of patient assessment, surgical indications, treatment planning, and the clinical decision-making processes of medical specialists.

Live Surgery Observation

Subject to patient consent, institutional operational requirements, and applicable regulations, participants may observe surgical procedures performed by experienced specialists. These sessions offer insights into surgical approaches, anatomical considerations, and patient safety

protocols.

Expert-Led Clinical Discussion

Interactive academic discussions with specialists provide opportunities to exchange clinical perspectives on surgical planning, technique selection, postoperative management, and complication prevention.

Integrated Patient Care Experience

Participants gain insight into JK's comprehensive international patient management system, encompassing consultation, diagnosis, surgical preparation, postoperative recovery, and follow- up care.

Global Medical Exchange

Through professional knowledge exchange between JK's medical specialists and international healthcare professionals, the program aims to establish a foundation for sustainable international medical collaboration.
